“Coast Forest Products Association works on behalf of all British Columbians by interacting with every level of government to ensure an ongoing flow of communications and ideas with the forest industry, one of BC’s largest economic drivers. By encouraging investment in high-tech equipment, leading the development of new opportunities, and ensuring that policies support the coast forest sector, we help to increase market share and provide stable, livable wage jobs for British Columbians.”

CFPA offers excellent resources to its member companies, including promotional materials and on the ground support in major markets, including Japan, China, other Asia, Europe and North America.

A number of their products are publically available, including their species brochures, available in English, Japanese and Mandarin.  These are available for hem-fir, Douglas-fir, western red cedar, yellow cedar, Sitka spruce, pines, and coastal hardwoods.
